@naveed_rehman It's for people that create a lot of content really quickly and don't want to manually index each page individually.
If you submit a sitemap to Google then it enters their queue and can take 4-20 weeks but with the API or manually via search console it will be 3 days or less.
@a007mr It doesn't. The app simply iterates through every web page listed in all of the sitemaps that belong to a search console website and makes an indexing request to Google's Indexing API.
If the request is successful then it is assumed that Google will index it in less than 3 days.
They do have a status checker API but the application isn't using it and so far I haven't had any web pages get rejected from being indexed but I am sure some will if they have duplicate content or whatever based on their policies.
