Attend QR - An attendance management system

The idea for Attend QR originated from my own experience as a student. I observed that traditional attendance-taking methods were time-consuming and inefficient, especially in large classes (e.g., 70 students). In each 45-minute lecture, 5-10 minutes were spent solely on calling out names, which not only disrupted the flow of the class but also led to issues with mispronunciation and accuracy. Moreover, there was no centralized system for administrators to access or manage attendance records in real-time. Recognizing these inefficiencies, I developed Attend QR, a web-based app designed to streamline attendance management. With Attend QR, students simply scan a Attend QR code to mark their attendance in real-time. This solution drastically reduces the time taken for attendance, enhances accuracy, and provides admins with comprehensive insights and reports. It also offers automation and customization options to meet specific institutional needs.

Wish my uni had this... When I studied in Lithuania, just as you say, names would be called out and that's how attendance was checked. It takes some time and you can cheat - just have a friend shout out your name. Then I started studying in Sweden. There we have an electronic solution. You have to log in to Canvas, find the module, and press "Attend". None of these beat a QR code. Just scan and get into the classroom. Congrats on the launch!
