We believe you own your data and you should decide who sees it. We use many DeFi principles, but we built Aster Key to be super easy to use, work with mainstream lenders, and be available from the Apple and Google Play app stores. A big problem is when you apply for a loan, all that personal and financial data of yours is stored and passed around by lenders and the tech vendors they use. Your private data is stored on many servers -- along with the data of 1000s of other people. Hacker honey pots. 🍯🐝 To solve this, our first push is to create the most secure personal financial statement which is the foundation for more secure lending. Then in our next release, we are working with mainstream lenders that share our vision, and you will be able to use your Aster Key to get pre-approved ANONYMOUSLY for loans. Check it out. To start, you can self-verify all your financial info. You can also verify your data, and keep your profile updated. Verification is available where Plaid Open Finance is live such as US/Canada and several EU countries. We add our security enhancements to keep your data end-to-end secure.

Can I export my data if needed?

Gone is the mundane task of having to enter all your financial information over and over again! I love that you enter it once and the verified financial info updates automatically, and it's easy to update the self-verified.

Congrats on the launch! Really like that you can use this to apply for a loan without any privacy loss (huge). Some small caveats I found (take with a grain of salt as usual): -When I was being onboarded, I was told to "add financial sources" to complete my profile. I tried to find that part, but I realized it was at the bottom. IMO it should either be at the very top OR the next step of the onboarding flow. -When I went to the settings panel, I saw "Log In". I thought I wasn't logged in so I tried to do that, but it looks like that wasn't a log in button. -It looks like I can manually pick whichever value I want for my credit score. I entered 850 and it looks like there is no verification process. Any plans to tackle this?

I think it has a great potential to be an alternative secure way to handle finances directly. The app is well structured and easy to use. I like the dashboard being able to see everything in one place.
