I'm incredibly proud to be part of Virtual Gurus and to work alongside the askBetty team. It's been SO amazing to get to use this Slack app during beta. Moving across the country is no small feat! I've been able to askBetty to do everything from researching and booking my out-of-province vehicle inspection, researching & compiling vehicle switchover requirements, finding me home cleaners in my new city, and even researching mortgage rates and booking my mortgage renewal appointments! This is a lifesaver for busy professionals that don't feel like working on their personal life after working all day.

In addition to being the COO of the scale-up rocket ship Virtual Gurus, I'm a mom to a 15 year old goalie/bass player, wife to a busy banker *and* I try to have a social life ;-) askBetty takes my life tasks (ordering pizza for delivery to school when the 15yo forgets lunch on the counter and I'm heading into a series of meetings) and my work tasks (researching the social mission alignment of big enterprise companies with our own before a major pitch so I can focus on everything else that needs to be done). Access to an admin assistant used to be for the few but askBetty changed that. Now everyone can get that extra pair of hands whenever they need them. We'd love you to give Betty a try. Congrats on the launch. I’m looking forward to playing around with the capabilities, because to be honest some of the examples of tasks that can be done seem way more complex than I expected Betty to be able to handle.

Just signed up to use this because I'd like to see how well it will work for tasks I just don't have the time or energy to do. One thing I'm curious about is why you decided to implement Slack as the only way to use this service? I'm wondering because I'm a sole proprietor/freelancer so I do use slack with companies I'm consulting with, but wouldn't want to add askBetty to those slack workspaces - so I had to create a new slack workspace basically just to use this service. Seems like there could be other methods to use this service without solely integrating with slack?
