Hi Hunters, I moved into a place last year and found it really hard to find wall art. I went to a lot of galleries but they were all quite expensive and had limited variety. So I created Artigo. Artigo streamlines the entire process from image selection through to customization, printing and delivery. I'll be the first to admit it's still a little rough around the edges but as the quote from Reid Hoffman goes "if you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late". Really hope you enjoy the release and am excited for future improvements - especially in speed and user experience ☺️ Feedback's always appreciated. Alex

@alexgrundy nice man. This will be huge once you allow people to print their own photos from the camera roll. I would be sending iPhone photos as gifts to everyone in just a few swipes.
Alex
@darrennesbitt This is definitely on the roadmap. Ideally down the line I'd want to allow users / artists to be able directly upload to the service, while also giving them the option of making their photo public and have revenue split of work sold.

@alexgrundy Yeah that would make this a place where people came shop for really cool/current prints. If I were shopping for prints from photogs there are a lot of places to look. But if I wanted to send my grandma a really great photo we took this past December, there aren't many other places I could go (on my phone) that would make it this easy. Seems like a great white space to claim.

@alexgrundy I love what you have done here. As a photographer it would be amazing to uses platform like this to sell to my clients. Are you thinking of opening this up to creatives zu utilise?
Alex
@alexkess 100% Future plans are to setup an ecosystem for photographers to showcase their work.

It’s getting late here now but I’ll be available in few hours to answer any questions or feedback you might have.

How are you sourcing the pictures ?
Jp Valery
@gary_torres i figured but couldn’t see any credit anywhere (which is required with the api). @stephliverani ?
Alex
@gary_torres @stephliverani @jpvalery Hi Gary and JP, Nice catch! The images currently comes from a range of open source repositories - mainly Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay and the app credits all images to their original source when you click (i) icon at the bottom of the image. Ideally later down the line I'd want to allow direct upload by artists themselves with a revenue split.
