Hi all, Jordan here from Ardor. We are super excited to get this out in the wild. We have been testing Ardor for the past year with an internal pool of users who have been patient with us as we trained Ardor how to make better predictions about someone's strength and fitness abilities. It's been a journey and based on recent data, we are ready for the next stage. We are guaranteeing Ardor will guess within 5% accuracy for any strength or speed/fitness workout after you finish just your second workout. We started out with a goal to have workouts and routines built around individuals. To not only predict how much weight someone should use or how many reps they can do of something but to take it one step further: make wild predictions about someone's speed and endurance inside a gym. What's your cardio like? When are you going to start slowing down in a high intensity workout? What excites us is being able to give people a way to compete against themselves. Where you are tasked with workouts you are able to do but that also push you. With a challenge or a goal for every session - something that says, "based on what you did last week, today I think you should aim to do 4 rounds before the timer runs out." or "Try and use this weight today for each set". If you've used FitBod or FitnessAI, it will feel familiar but what makes us special is how we predict your speed and fitness too. We also let you build personal routines where you can say things like "I want to do a lot of weightlifting strength training, a little bit of cardio circuit workout, and once in a while, throw in some bodyweight strength stuff".

@jordan_lund like having a personal trainer at my fingertips. I can easily change up what equipment I have whether at home or on vacation and everything is altered for me and never fails to be spot on for my timing or give me the push i need.
Jordan Lund
@kalexander Thank you and thanks for being an early tester. Having a fitness app follow you rather than you following its program was definitely the core goal and driver for how we made designed each feature.

Got me to download but the magic of the app was buried , will give feedback on the app later today. Check out the review of Opus.pro on the playlist, that had what you need for the hero part - Goated.vc Daily Teardowns #23 Ardor https://youtu.be/3pABLayeR64

Tried the app, i love it, signed up: https://soapbox.wistia.com/video...
Jordan Lund
@frank_denbow whoa! Thank you for documenting your first run experience and providing feedback of what you liked and what you'd like to see differently. The magic sauce is in how workouts evolve. That separates us a lot. When changing the weights or reps of one exercise, other exercises you haven't done with Ardor yet get more accurate. Or when you do a round/timed based workout and come in faster or slower, future speed workout challenges with different exercises you haven't done yet get more accurate. Also, I saw you build a single, one off workout. I have that on the home tab to simplify getting a workout right away. But as you use it more, definitely try building a month routine. That's when it gets really interesting. You can build a routine with a mix of interests (e.g. strength, circuit, and bodybuilding) and get it to build around your schedule, progressing week after week. as for your feedback: * I love the idea of putting the explainer walkthrough ahead of the signup page. Will do. * I agree there needs more visuals/graphics in place of text in parts. Definitely something I want to add over time. Need to focus on making more content and growing team. * Yes to preloading gym equipment. Perhaps a good starting point is to have a few options at the top where you can say "typical commercial gym" or "typical home setup". etc. * The intake form is long, I'd like to shorten it but have to walk the tightrope of making sure first few workouts are somewhat accurate and intake isn't super long
Frank Denbow
@jordan_lund good stuff. I think this will be good for me as I travel, since my gym setup does tend to change a bunch. Great work so far!

Hey, I've been doing CrossFit for eight years. The workouts the AI behind this app generates are just crazy. That's a glance into the future and a true use case where AI totally makes sense. Spot on.
Jordan Lund
@joemoeat Thank you! Our roots definitely started in CrossFit. We wanted someone to be able to explore all areas of fitness like CrossFit does but then take it up a notch. Let people dial in specific routines that make sense for them with a specific mix of interests that makes sense for them. Want to do a lot of bodybuilding work and but also throw in some conditioning/HIIT? Easy. Want to focus on your bodyweight strength but you have a kettlebell that you want thrown in once in a while? No problem. You can mix things together around a schedule that works for you, with the equipment you have, and workouts that come with an individual goal/challenge. As you progress, the workouts progress too. Rather than following someone else's program.

I've used ardor for a few months pre-release and it's hands down the best home fitness app I've used, and the only one I've stuck to for any amount of time. Amazing work! And an incredible application of ai
Jennifer Hayes
Ohh. This sounds awesome. I’ve been looking for something like this. How does your next workout evolve automatically?
Jordan Lund
@jennifer_hayes1 Thank you! Ardor makes a prediction about what you are capable of in the workout. If it's a strength workout, when you add more/less weight/reps than what Ardor challenged you with, it learns from that and will update it's predictions of your next workout even with exercises you haven't done yet with Ardor. If it's a speed/fitness workout, if you beat or come under the time Ardor predicts, it will tweak the reps/time/rounds of the next circuit/HIIT workout to be more accurate. Similarly, it will do that with exercises you haven't done with Ardor yet. The idea is you can start competing against the one person that really matters, yourself. Because you have a goal in each workout that is based on your recent workouts.

The app I’ve been waiting for my whole life. The game is about to be changed forever. Yesssss!

@jordan_Lund, what an awesome and innovative product you have created! Ardor Fitness looks like an amazing way to help people stay fit and reach their fitness goals with the use of personal trainer AI. I'm sure your users are going to have fantastic results! Kudos for bringing this idea to life.
Jordan Lund
@footprint_calculator Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out.
lucas brinson
Ardor helps with motivation and rounds out the blind spots we all have in our stagnant gym routines! The best product for reinvigorating a personalized fitness level that doesn’t plateau.
Jordan Lund
@lucas_brinson Thank you! We try really hard to open up new exercises and workouts into people's normal routine by using the equipment they have and basing it around your ability
Shinny
Congrats on the launch! Love the website design and content. It clearly presents the value and benefits of Ardor! Downloaded the app as well and was impressed that the app was of a similar quality! Nice Job, I'm sure this will help people get fitter!
Jordan Lund
@shinny Thank you! Appreciate you installing it and checking it out. Looking forward to your launch soon.
Tioluwani Akeju
Great job on the AI implementation, and at a reasonable cost too. This might just be the push I need to start training once more. Excellent work, and best wishes for the launch.
Jordan Lund
@tioluwani_akeju Thank you for the kind words. We felt it really important to offer a high level of personalization at such a low price point. Individual training routines should be available for more people.
Danielle O'Connell
Although I haven't started my Ardor journey yet, the anticipation is palpable! The promises of personalized workouts, adaptive challenges, and tailored routines have me eagerly counting down the days. The sleek interface and customizable features seem like the perfect recipe for a fitness enthusiast like me. Stay tuned for my firsthand experience—I'm excited to unlock the full potential of Ardor and share my fitness adventures soon!
Jordan Lund
@danielle_o_connell Thank you! We promise after just 2 workouts, you will see why consistency and motivation comes easier when you get a goal/challenge in each workout rather than having a 12 month goal. We put a lot of effort on letting folks focus on the day by having Ardor build workouts that was meant for just them.
ryan duvernet
Great app. Even better workouts. A must try for any fitness level
Stephen Binning
Ardors ability to adapt rapidly to my current ability blows my mind. For me the hardest part of working out is deciding what to do (and still push myself) Ardor does all that work and allows me to stay in the moment and stop thinking during a workout. Very, very cool
Jordan Lund
@stephen_binning Thank you! We worked really hard to create workouts for individual people. With challenges you are able to do but that push you.
Nikita Detkov
Kudos on the amazing product! Could you share insights into your upcoming development milestones or features on the roadmap?
Jordan Lund
@detkov Thank you! Two main focuses we want to work on next: 1. expand individual personalization branch: We think it be interesting to let users mix together not just fitness styles and goals but also say what hobbies/sports they are into and have fitness routines built around helping them be stronger, safer, and fitter around that. 2. start community/trainer branch: so giving Ardor's prediction brains to trainers or people who want to make routines to have other people follow them or be their client. Saving trainers time and making a more personalized experience for their following. Also want to start a leaderboard that leverages how Ardor thinks about competition. So rather than the strongest or fittest at the top, the leaderboard is based on a handicap where the person who is bettering themself more against what Ardor thinks their capable of, comes out on top.
Clare K
Love this! Really great value compared to PT session costs! great that it is so adaptable and personalised
Jordan Lund
@clare_k Thank you! We are super proud to be able to offer that kind of personalization at such a low price point. Personalized training should be available for everyone.
Mike Matika
So far so good with this app. It’s the only fitness app I’ve used that can accurately predict my progression. Great work!
Jordan Lund
@mikematika Thank you for sticking with us. We worked really hard to make the progression based around your natural pace
Luke Pacholski
Really enjoyed the sessions that Ardor led me through! It's cool you can tell it what equipment you have and it will build a routine around what's at hand.
Jordan Lund
@flukeout Thanks! We worked hard to maximize people's equipment that they have. It was very important to support not just what you have at home or at your gym but to also be able to build workouts when you are at a hotel or on the road too.
Eric Doak
As a registered sports and orthopedic physiotherapist Ardor's use of AI allows clients to progress their recovery without missing steps and coming back injured. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized way to workout that follows appropriate loading and dosage protocols. Well done guys!!!
Jordan Lund
@eric_doak1 Wow. Thank you! We put a ton of work into the personalization based on predictions about someone's unique ability. To not just give everyone a program to follow but instead train Ardor how to follow individuals. We can't wait to train Ardor with more specific mobility/injury/recovery routines and support the physio/health world too.
Shaun
As a newcomer to the workout scene, I couldn't have asked for a better gym buddy than Ardor. What really stood out was how it guided me through my fitness journey, adapting and learning every workout. The personalized approach tailored every session to my needs, helping me improve at a pace that felt just right. As a beginner, the guidance was incredibly helpful, I can't wait to see what's next in my game-changing journey.
