AirBuddy - Bring the same AirPods experience from iOS to Mac

AirBuddy brings the same AirPods experience you have on iOS to the Mac. With AirBuddy, you can open up your AirPods case next to your Mac and see the status right away, just like it is on your iPhone or iPad

Cons: - The only way (I have found) to connect my AirPods is by placing them into the case and then opening it, there's no way to manually connect them. Toothfairy does a much better job of this. - Control is managed through the Today sidebar which I never use. I was expecting a menu bar icon for easier access. - Installation was kind of confusing, you have to manually add the sidebar widget. I didn't read the small text at first and was confused Overall the idea is really nice and I like the way it's built. However the user experience leaves a lot to be desired and unfortunately this won't replace Toothfairy for me until I can manually connect/disconnect my AirPods.

Pros:

- Works as intended, visually very close to my iPhone and what I would expect from macOS out of the box

It interesting have level battery separate of each earbuds when it is out of the case like the experience in iPhone.

Pros:

It's works similar to iPhone. Amazing!

Cons:

Some things need to improve like the level battery of each earbuds when are out of the case.

Thanks for the review! AirBuddy shows separate battery levels for the earbuds in the widget when their battery level is significantly different, it won't show them separately if their battery level is very close (within 5%) of each other.

If you work in a fairly populated space or a public area, be prepared to be spammed by any and all available devices. I really wish there was a way to say ONLY connect to devices on my iCloud account.

Pros:

I have more success connecting my Airpods with Airbuddy than via ToothFairy

And why the apple didn't think of this? haha 😄 Nice and useful!

This is so cool! Works like a charm! 🎉

I have no idea why Apple didn't build this right into Mac OS natively, so thank you for creating it 😉

The setup process can be improved. I think I did something wrong but I don't know what it is. I am able to show my BeatsX on mac but unable to do so the 2nd or 3rd time. Update: It is working as expected now. No setup needed. I think iCloud just need time to connect and sync permission.

Pros:

It works as intended.

Cons:

I'm unable to make it work for the first time but the next day it is just working fine, I don't know why.

I downloaded the bundle and opened it and did what was necessary, but when I open my case, It does not provide the said graphics. Got a license key, should I key it in somewhere?
