@pierrebecerril hello! the estimator is based on information found on the following website: https://www.cowspiracy.com/facts I collected the information found on the studies published on the mentioned website and created this beautiful calculator using web technologies: javascript for the interaction and canvas to be able to download the generated image so it can be shared on social media. Thanks for sharing @eugenioreloaded. Wondering why you guys removed the "lives saved" metric? This is the single most important metric for many vegans.

@eugenioreloaded @chris_giovine Hello! It's being refactored as there has been new studies and data to support a more accurate number. In any case we are going to put it soon again with more accurate information. Keep in mind that this will always be estimates as is not simple to calculate the exact impact on animal lives. I know it is a powerful statistic but numbers should not be the driven factor of being vegan for the planet, your health and the animals we live with :)

Love the website, Eugenio! You've made our community proud. There many wonderful sections and a lot of vegan eggs (instead of easter eggs 🤣) to discover. I'm enjoying finding them all.
