14-year-old builds Tinder for News 📰💕
Alex is a 14-year-old maker from Ireland and has been learning to code for a year. He had an idea for a news app, which he's been building during the summer vacation weeks. On Sunday, he shared it with the Product Hunt community.

Alex's Tinder-style news app was Sunday's #1 product. 🏆

Swiipe News turns the day's headline into a game: swipe left to dismiss an article, swipe right to save it for later, and tap to read it. It feels like Tinder, where you control your own destiny. You can choose from over 50 news sources, and filter the headlines by emoji-based categories.

In his updated maker comment, Alex says that the positive reception by the community has inspired him to continue working on Swiipe and continue pursuing his new career. 🙏
