Game of Thrones star launched an app ⚔️
Today we have a special guest: Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, is here to tell you about Daisie, the new app that she and her co-founder Dom Santry are launching today. 😻

Hello Product Hunt! It's Maisie. Dom and I had a wonderful time in San Francisco, and heard that this is the place to be on launch day!

Success in the creative industries is wholly dependent on luck and ‘ins’. When I was 12, I auditioned for every stage school in London and didn’t get in. Had I not got Game of Thrones, that probably would have been the end of it for me, so I’ve always pictured that person who these opportunities were not around for.

At Daisie, we are building a platform for creators to showcase their original work, collaborate, and make meaningful connections. You have a profile, and you have a timeline, but the way your profile grows is by the chains that you make. To make a chain with someone, you have to work together. It’s a two way connection that encourages discovery and collaboration.

Our ultimate goal is to give the power back to the creator. Opportunity comes by working together, and when people's work speaks for itself – without being validated by a follower count or a casting director.

We're a team of six (come work with us!). We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions, and I'll be around on Product Hunt today answering questions, ask me anything (except for the Game of Thrones ending).

– Maise 💛
