Hi I'm Jimmy O. Yang, I'm a comedian and actor. You might know me as Jian-Yang from HBO's Silicon Valley. I've also been in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and I will be in the upcoming movie "Patriot's Day" this December.

@nivo0o0 @funnyasiandude just as a consumer, I'm very interested in VR, but I am also worried that it'll take over people's lives if used in excess. And I think Silicon Valley as a whole is similar. People are coming up with amazing things, but at the same time, a lot of those awesome things are making us more disconnected to the world.

Lots of talk about Asian representation (or lack of) in movies and TV recently. As someone in the industry, do you encounter racism very often? If so, what form does it take?

@dleesta I am aware of it and the articles out there. I try to focus on my career and not let all those things affect me. When I don't get a role in an audition, I try to not to put the blame on the fact that I'm Asian, I just go work on my craft and try to be a better actor for my next audition.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for being on PH today! I just wanted to ask one thing... If you could give just one piece of advice to those following their dream, what would it be? I know that you must be asked that question a lot, but since you were on It's Always Sunny with Charlie Day I know that you must be familiar with his story. I am a founder of an app startup who came up with the idea when I was homeless and working the graveyard shift at Denny's, and I'm wanting to know what advice you would give to me? (Jokes about Denny's are totally cool in your response)
