Hello! Iām Arielle Zuckerberg, associate partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers focusing on early-stage investments. Before joining KPCB a little over a month ago, I was a product manager at Humin, Google, and Wildfire (which was acquired by Google). I also started angel investing in mid-2014. And regarding my last name, I know what youāre asking yourself, and the answer is yes; it does mean āsugar mountainā in German. Iām excited to be here! Ask me anything!

Arielle! Welcome. I'm curious to know why you made the transition from PM to VC. I was considering making that move a few years ago before Product Hunt.

@rrhoover To piggy back on this Q... what skills did you learn as a PM that have most helped your career in VC?

@rrhoover love this question! Can you also elaborate on what advice you have for PMs who want to transition to VC?

Hey Arielle, thanks for the AMA. My questions are : How do you introduce to someone new ? When they hear your family name, what's their reaction and what's your reaction ?
(PS : from your last entry from your blog, what do you think about the Pebble Time :D ?)

Hi Arielle! Thanks for joining us today. During your career to date, what is the best piece of advice you've ever been given? Flip side - what's the worst?

@ariellezuck Thanks for your time Arielle and congratulations for joining KPCB few months ago. I was going to ask something related to health as I think that the decade ahead will be the best for health/well-being/live longer opportunities in Silicon Valley. My questions is this: How do you see the overall opportunities in health and Silicon Valley? Although I love seeing all the energy and investments behind wearables -- such as FitBit and Jawbone, I am thinking that the opportunity in health/well-being for Silicon Valley is before people go for the wearable, and during the moment they log into their Facebook account. Any thoughts? Good luck to you at KPCB, have fun, make tons of great investments -- and above it all change the world!
