We change the way people move in cities: they no longer have to commute back home to enjoy and use the amenities and comforts of home. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL - Take the world of Recharge and translate it to every hotel - Be a detail oriented, charming, futuristic hotelier - Be the face of Recharge and a relentless liaison that can speak to individual GMs as well as large crowds of hotel representatives. Speak their language and connect two different worlds with a unified vision - Work with the leading hotels in highly regulated markets - convince all hotels to adhere to a set price tier, continually grow existing inventory and learn to view Recharge as the optimal source of revenue - Work in lockstep with the Director or Operations to ensure all our accounts are profitable - Work just as closely with the Head of Design and Brand to ensure that we have hotels where we control the front desk. Leverage room signage/technology and own the Recharge experience - Be the key representative to land and expand our hotel roadmap across existing and new markets SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The ideal Director of Account Management has: - Deep familiarity with hotel operations: back office (cleaners and unions) and front office (revenue management and front desk) - Intimate understanding of the hotel tech stack and how we can embed Recharge into the system. We're looking for a data scientist with a track record of helping companies and products scale as quickly and intelligently as possible. You'll be the first data scientist at a company that will be defined by understanding the hospitality business better than anyone else, and you'll have the opportunity to build out the data team which will be at the core of that effort. You'll work with each part of the business, from product to sales to operations, to make decisions and suggest changes based on a deep understanding of our data. You'll work on production models, whether they're for forecasting hotel availability or making real-time pricing decisions. You'll help define and build out tools to track our key business metrics, and push the business to meet them in any way you can. The best candidate for this role will be someone equally comfortable helping our sales organization track performance improvements in the sales pipeline as they are building out a model to predict a hotel's metrics better than the hotel can. Our mission is to use technology to bring efficiency and consumer control to the antiquated way people stay at hotels. You'll be an integral part of accomplishing that goal and making sure we do so as intelligently as possible. Recharge is looking for an experienced hospitality professional. You will own the supply acquisition sales process, working directly with our CEO. You will have direct input into hotel operations, hotel product and our consumer product. You will blaze a path into the world of real estate where customers control how they purchase living space. This will require building relationships with REIT’s, brands, and hotel general managers - unlike a traditional market manager role focused on revenue managers. At Recharge, you will have the opportunity to change the way the hotel operates, including influencing their cleaning operations and challenging their occupancy assumptions.
