For example, our team works on projects like referral programs, new user acquisition campaigns, brand development and funnel optimization — basically anything that will help accelerate AngelList’s growth. We're looking for an experienced, results-oriented paid media specialist to lead the strategy and execute on paid acquisition. This is a role based in our New York office. The ideal candidate is someone who’s passionate about digital marketing, has a proven track-record of direct success with campaign strategy and management, and has a desire to help build the paid acquisition function at AngelList. This is AngelList's first paid acquisition hire, so you'll have the opportunity to shape the team and strategy. --- You will • Develop and execute PPC, display, remarketing and other paid media campaigns • Focus on reducing CAC across multiple user segments • Work with product, growth, and marketing teams to identify business goals, audience, and channel opportunities. Develop specific paid media objectives, strategies, and goals • Support new product development with audience insights and demand verification • Monitor day-to-day results for all paid media programs, and make changes required to hit campaign targets • Manage 3rd party agency resources/relationships • Create reporting to explain campaign performance internally • Build out the paid acquisition function at AngelList --- You have • At least 5+ years of direct, dedicated experience with building, executing, and optimizing successful SEM campaigns • Experience with ad management interfaces and bidding tools (Google, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Programmatic Ad Tech platforms) • Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions and campaigns for the right audiences • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis --- Bonus points • Technical background (engineering / design) preferred • Previous experience building a performance marketing team
