Would you scrap data or delete it permanently?

Imagine a scenario where you had an amazing blog website that you're closing because you're going to do something else now. What would you do with all that data of articles? Delete them? or store them in a hard drive and never look at it? Why not scrap it, so that anyone who might find it useful can use it, or later after 5-6 years you want to see something you can always find that data. I'm thinking of starting a project where we scrap data and make it available for anyone to use free of charge. Any data you no longer need, just scrap it rath than delete it permanently. Let me know what you would like to see in this type of platform? Also if this is something you'll be interested to work on please connect, this project is going to be a community project.
