Would you rather use AI-generated images or photostock pictures for illustrations?

An image is worth a thousand words... But how do you proceed to get the relevant illustrations? Relying on freelance artist might deliver the best results, but it's costly and time-consuming. Photostocks provide the pictures immediately and for cheap, but the quality is usually poor. Internet users tend to be tired of generic images. AI image generators like Dall-E 2 are a new thing; their creations are spectacular but imperfect. What do you choose?

We collaborate with designers. Surely, it may not be cheap and can take longer, because you have to work with a designer on an image, but it makes content so much more enjoyable and interesting. My eyes are tired of seeing the same type of generic images - people in suits around the table/computer/whiteboard/etc. Also, freelance designers' rates are so broad, that I think that almost anyone can find a rate that suits them. Beginners are usually cheaper and are glad to gain experience

It makes no difference to me exactly how the picture will be created. The main thing is that it is from a good material and complements my interior. That's how I got it turquoise canvas wall art and now I'm happy with it. There is no uniform rule for the placement of posters, according to experts, in this matter, everyone can safely express their imagination.

At Visla https://visla.us/, we currently use stock service. We have experimented but have not succeeded with a generative AI model that can be offered to our customers. Two problems are yet to be solved: speed and reliability. Sometimes AI generates disturbing visuals. As for video, most paid stock service provides good quality video footage. AI is yet to catch up in video generation. However, it is true that personalization is easily achieve by AI but hard or prohibitive for a stock collection.

I prefer to use illustration templates. It helps me save time creating a project. I use https://masterbundles.com/stock-..., where you can buy a set of vectors on various topics for a small fee. It helps make a logo unique.
