When is it better to launch on PH in relation to posting upcoming page?

Hey hunters!
Our team posted the upcoming page a week ago - https://www.producthunt.com/upco... . And now we are thinking about the best date for launching our product.
When did you post your upcoming page in relation to your PH launch? How did you attract subscribers for the upcoming page?

tbh, always forget about upcoming with our launches -- will start trying those out more; to date, it tends to feel like off-site marketing matters more than anything

I don't think it really matters. I would just launch when you're ready to launch. Most of your support will come from your community and users. I don't think there's much value in driving people to your upcoming page rather than your actual website/product.
Product Hunt does not adjust for time zones so be sure to double check you are launching at the time you'd like to in PST. There is no “magic” time to post, but it's best practice to do it before 9am PT so there's enough time in the day for people to discover and discuss your latest creation.

Hey Daria, great question. Asking us the same over here. We just launched our upcoming page yesterday: https://www.producthunt.com/upco... and are set for launch April 7th. Which feels fast. What timeline do you have in mind for your launch? Curious to exchange ideas with a fellow maker.
@jan_beisheim We have not set a particular date for launch yet but we are thinking about 20th of April
