The inequality between remote and in-office employees. Before the pandemic, studies show that while remote workers were 13% more productive, they weren't promoted at nearly the same rate as in-office workers. There is a presence bias that every leader has and it's hard to counteract it. Eventually I think it'll go to a point where some people might come to the office unwillingly just so they can look better.

@between_team 100% Presence bias is real for sure. Like other biases, naming it is the first step. I also see a future trend where true, middle-of-the-road hybrid workplaces will be rare. There will just be in-office companies with a bit of flexibility, or distributed workplaces that occasionally get together.
