What influences the app development price?

I and my team singled out these 4 most crucial aspects: - Platforms - Features - Design complexity - Developer rates How many hours it took us to build various apps is described here: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Developers I'd say, specially when they spend their time on non-differentiating problems, such as setting up a server, ci/cd, monitoring, issue tracking instead of building the product.

I will say features, tech stack, platform, customization, etc

We ran an app development studio for a while (before we made our own product) and from experience I can say the following things can influence the cost of a project: Complexity of features: what type of functionality is required - a form filling application is going to be a lot simpler than one that implements computer vision for example. Feature completeness: is it an entire platform or a simple MVP with one function. A lot of times clients want an entire platform made for their business and they don't appreciate the time and effort that is required to build out the functionality. Type of technology: is it new and cutting edge tech or is it a known beast. With anything new there is going to be risk involved, there will be a prototyping phase where the engineers will need to work out the feasibility of what is being specified. This will mean the project can be more expensive and often the client will need to make some compromises. Stuff like VR/AR and Computer vision applications can often fall into this category.

The example of building a house illustrates the situation more clearly. The question β€œhow much does it cost to build a good house?” will lead to equally disparate answers covering different areas of the task implementation. The approach to the foundation alone can differ dramatically, not to mention the interior. However, this does not mean that it is impossible to understand the cost of developing a mobile application; you just need to approach it systematically. When I created my application, it took me a lot of effort to do it, and then I used the help https://orangesoft.co/blog/9-tip.... If I did everything myself, I think it would be about a year and many lost nerves.

Hey! I think first of all it is the quality of work, platform and production time. I myself do not understand much about this, but I always know that I need to turn to https://syndicode.com/services/r... . These are cool developers and I always know what I'm paying for

Hi, Anna. Great question. Thank you for sharing these crucial aspects that affect the cost of application development. You are right, taking into account these factors will certainly help to accurately estimate the cost of your project. There exist distinctive elements that can have an effect on the cost of app development, which includes but now not limited to the dimension of the application, the intended audience, and the unique development process employed. To get a more detailed estimate, I would advise using the so-called "calculators" of the cost of application development. So far there are not so many of them, I can only advise the one I use: https://andersenlab.com/pricing I found it not so long ago, so I can't judge its accuracy, but judging from my experience, it calculates future development costs quite correctly. If anyone tries it, let me know if you liked it. Perhaps someone will offer me a better option?

Absolutely, identifying Platforms, Features, Design Complexity, and Developer Rates as core aspects is spot on for any tech project planning. Each plays a pivotal role in shaping the project's scope, budget, and timeline. More insights on how to reduce the app development price here: https://cyfrania.com/how-to-redu...
