Ship page for a 2nd launch? Yes or no? Why?

Hey, hunters! What do you think about ship pages after a first launch has already taken place? My first thoughts were that it didn't make sense to use them. However, I've seen some people create a new ship page for different versions of the product.

If there are significant changes or updates between the first launch and the second launch, then a new ship page might make sense.

I see it as no different than a ship page for the first launch or just a second launch without a ship page in general. I see the ship page as essentially a boosted launch, so any rules that a launch would follow should also follow for the ship page. So in this case, like others have said, make sure there are significant changes to your product, and try and gather data of what you could improve from the first launch. Good luck on your second launch!

Yes! It's great for gathering support pre-launch and getting some eyes on your product. Also worthwhile to follow these best practices below to get more out of it! ✨Best practices for ship pages ✨ 1️⃣ Add a custom background that is relevant to your product 2️⃣ Embed a link to your product in the description or title 3️⃣ Adding a title and description. Bullet lists often work well as you have limited space to describe your product, maybe use relevant emojis as each bullet.  4️⃣ If you don't have a video, upload a short Loom to this page where you explain what your product is. Little effort that provides a lot of context! 5️⃣ You can only send a message once a week on the free plan, so make sure to plan this ahead for your launch if you don't upgrade. 6️⃣ Add the widget to your website so people can sign up right from your website.

For a second launch, I would recommend using the product hub page instead. It is a new feature but you can access it here: https://help.producthunt.com/en/...

@fabian_maume How would you use this? I claimed the hub already but I'm not very sure of how we can leverage it
Fabian Maume
@martina_hackbartt You harvest follower on the product hub. Those followers will be notify of the new launch. It is also possible to display a banner on top of the hub announcing incoming launch (it is still a better feature, so you might need to ask PH support for it).
Martina Hackbartt
@fabian_maume Thank you Fabian! I've been exploring the hubs and I think we'll go on that direction. Thank you a lot for the advice!

We chose not to, just opted for the new Teaser feature instead. Seems to be doing the trick!
Martina Hackbartt
@jonathan_nass Do you mean the product hubs? And btw, how did you get the "launching soon" badge? I love it!
Jonathan Nass
@martina_hackbartt so if you schedule your new launch, you should have the option to add a Teaser banner to your Product Hub page. Once I did that, the Launching Soon badge just appear!

I feel a ship page is better while promoting your launch. You can generate a waitlist.

It depends on the extent of changes. If the second launch introduces significant updates or a new version, creating a new ship page can help highlight these changes and provide a fresh marketing opportunity. However, if the updates are minor, sticking with the original ship page {https://cheapmotorcycleshipping....} . thanks
