Need a killer ad? Help me build a killer portfolio!

Hello! I'm curious if anyone would like an animated ad / commercial for their product or service? I'm a VFX artist by profession. I want to transition into providing a solo commercial service, however I need to build a portfolio of real commercials to sell to potential clients. At the moment I'm currently taking on projects at a heavily discounted cost in exchange for the right to use the work as portfolio pieces. For context a typical commercial can cost anything from $5000 to $500,000 depending on the client. And yes, the $500k commercials are real! lol .. I worked on a Coca Cola Ad some years ago that had a $500k budget :) To be clear, this needs to be a portfolio piece, so its heavily in my interest to produce a really nice quality commercial that can be produced within a narrow scope of resources. A little inside knowledge; most VFX work is heavily bloated with unnecessary costs, which can be reduced by perhaps 80% if took a more efficient approach. For example I was once part of a team that blow around $30,000 on developing the fat simulation for a CG cat, which was barely noticeable in the final spot due to the amount of fur! Or another project where we blow away $20,000 developing the individual fibres and strands of a rope which was never seen in the final shot due to motion blur. Sh*t like this happens all the time. So its my goal to use that to my advantage as a solo service and cut out the bloat! The cost i'll be charging will heavily depend on the scope of the work, however I'm aiming for minimum cost to be around $500 - $2000. Note, my goal is to produce quality using high end 3d techniques and motion graphics, so I will not be producing or accepting any requests for automated one click BS videos like what you find on Fiverr.
