Its possible to build community in new social app, if i'm not using social apps?

I just put MVP of app to popular app stores. Its simple app where users snap photos/vidoes at the same moment. I dont want send it to my friends beacuse friends always say "it's good idea". Where I can find first users or testers?

This is tough. I believe you have to put a lot of effort into SEO. Thats going to be how people discover you. YouTube, blogs and podcasts would be your strategy. Then get them on your mailing list. That way you can build an audience.
