Is there a line between "thanks, that's thorough feedback" and "wow, I asked, but not for all this"?

In particular, if the feedback is on topic and (potentially) constructive. Is there ever just *too much* of it or no such thing?

@alissaannepagano I would say there is without a line on this. To me it also matters how they are giving you the extra feedback. If they are trying to help that is great. If they are trying to prove how smart they are and how little you know and playing the game of stump the chump. Then that is not helpful.
