If you could choose only one marketing channel for B2B

If you had limited resources (which most of us do) and you could only choose one marketing channel for a B2B business, which one would you choose? If you have tried a couple of channels and have seen what works best, tools, advertising or direct marketing. There is no limit - just what worked best for your business?

LinkedIn connections and direct messages! Not the automated campaign, but well-personnalized manual messages to decision-makers.

@daniel_engels I agree with you on this 100% as you know other channels takes time and resources

@daniel_engels Doing things manually, how do you ever get the time to reach enough people with only 50 inmails a month?

@berthakgokong Automated campaigns are not always the best solution, because you use a general message to reach various people (whose inbox is already overflowing with similar messages from competitors striving to get attention). Daniel's approach is truly the best one. When you take time to research the person you're messaging, and the company that they work for, their pain points, etc., you can create a personalized message that they are more likely to open and react to. And even if they don't need your service/product at the time, you can build a good relationship with them. And when they find themselves needing your product/service, they will remember you:)

@anna_mandziuk Thank you for that, makes total sense.
Launching soon!
LinkedIn for sure. There is no better platform for B2B marketing than LinkedIn. Even if we have less resources, we can still benefit from LinkedIn connections.

Damn, didn't see you question and asked the same today! https://www.producthunt.com/disc... I see everybody says LinkedIn: I would say "no way!" Yes, LinkedIn can works marvelous those days, but you control nothing on it! Algo can change, and you don't own anything. You could loose anything tomorrow. I'd choose SEO. Make your content shine on Google, Bing... Create content, and yes, then, also share it on social medias like LinkedIn...

@benoit_collet SEO is a must for any online property. Everything else I do, is always in addition to SEO. SEO is foundational in my mind - then you can (1) buy ads, (2) use social media, (3) LinkedIn, (4) Quora etc. But those efforts will be in vain if you do not do SEO. My first online business was an eCommerce store, I pumped so much money in to google ads. When I was paying for the ads, the sales would go up. But you are right, you are not in control - the algorithm changes all the time, new players come in, competition goes up -- the CPC is always different and a moving target all the time. I was always paying more and more to maintain the same traffic, and over time I reached a point where I was paying more than the sales I am making - and that made no sense. I learned a lesson and decided to invest in SEO and content marketing from day on in my current SaaS - https://skhokho.io Its a slow growth in the beginning, but the traffic is consistent and growth is also consistent.

Inbound / content all. day. long. It's the only channel that has the potential to reach your entire audience. It's definitely a long game, but so are startups, lol.

I would leave the one that generate leads. But we all know that for every b2b business there are different traffic channels, and you can’t choose one. In addition, usually digital marketing changes so quickly and rapidly that it is important to look for and test different things.

LinkedIn once and for all. From my experience, I can tell you I’ve not managed to find a better marketing channel than LinkedIn. That’s it. You know, I have a friend working at https://www.atwix.com/magento-ad... . He’s a marketing specialist. We met at the cafe a few days ago to drink some coffee, and I asked him what he thought about that. He agreed that LinkedIn was the most suitable tool for reaching needed results. So, that’s it, guys. You know, it’s the most interesting thread I’ve found recently. I’ll definitely follow it. Wish you all the best, guys. Good luck.
