What are some of the efficient ways to convert users who view your landing page to sign up/subscribe?

Some of the already tried methods:

- a curious punchline
- make it a simple static one-page
- provide only the important info (why's and what's)

@david_strc Thanks for the input. Yes, completely agree on the website's user experience. I already tried the simpler, just the needed info (5 pointers in tiles), a CTA. But i guess as above comment, i need to focus on target group which i am struggling to find pointers for.
