How often do you calculate unit economics?

Hi, inspired product people! How often do you calculate the unit economics of your product, and how exactly do you do it?

I've developed this weird habit of looking at every thing around me from the lens is capitalism and business.

I notice a car, I wonder how's this company doing economically in India.
I order food online, I wonder what's the actual cost of this food and what's the margin the seller is earning.
I see clothes at a mall, I think about the rent the store owner is paying and the unit economics of the clothes.

This all happens because I am obsessed with the unit economics of my products. And that's why Letterflix.com and Blinkstore.in are operationally profitable since day one. Trying to achieve the same with my other products that are in stealth mode.
