How do you measure the value of your content?

Hey, fairly new to PH - can't believe I didn't know about this place before! I'm interested for some insights from anyone working in content marketing, specifically I'm looking to understand the problems you have when analysing your content performance and understanding as to whether it worked? (Besides SEO benefits etc) Was it valuable to your audience? Did it help change perception, influence a decision or educate for example? Would love to know how some of you might be going about it :) Thaaaanks all.
