What frustrations with the process comes to mind first? Follow-up questions: 1. Where do you advertise your open positions? 2. How long does it usually take you to fill a position? Or how many candidates? 3. How much $$ do you spend to advertise your open positions?

Well the greatest is the surprise you get, for the difference between the image of the person you have created in your mind after reading their CV and when they actually are in front of you. at times that difference is poles apart. i have actually confronted people and they have then opened up to tell me that the CV was just a build-up. not sure if anyone else could relate?

@andrewcanday I think the tendency for candidates is to show all their positive attributes and I do think some people tend to embellish. What do you think would fix this? Do you think CV's are still relevant? What would you prefer to see from a candidate?

@ismaelyws 1. i think people looking for jobs should always keep their CVs updated. 2. candidates should make sure the data on thier CV is 100% factual and not just misleading CVs are certainly still essential. as they are the 1st screening process for any HR team or Employer
