I'd say the article "What we look for in Founders" has a lot of useful insight on what traits the best founders have.

@between_team Why do you say naive? Would love to learn and hear your story David and what you have learned.
Vio Vanica
@between_team Love it David, do you have a co-founder?
David J. Kim
@viorica_vanica I have two co-founders actually! One is a CTO, the other started as CMO but is moreso of a product designer/operator now (incoming title change!) I've worked with dozens of people, back when I was naive and thought about building a company vs just building a product. A lot of them were smart, but my co-founders had energy + integrity as well.

@viorica_vanica It's naive because we were moreso focused on "getting an engineer" or "getting a head of marketing/head of PR". When really, in the beginning everyone's going to be wearing lots of hats and the primary focus should be on building product & talking to users.
Mojiboye Emmanuel Oluwole
@between_team head of pr, yc talks a lot about avoiding those guys, I first learned about how bad they were from a book I read. thank goodness you realized this earlier on

Build sth. 100 people love, not something 1mio people kind of like. (Which is also my favorite of his quotes:)
Vio Vanica
@jgrenzemann thank you Johannes for sharing, not sure which one is the last one, can you send the link to it?

@viorica_vanica Hey viorica, now I see what went wrong here - you were asking for article, I posted a quote 🙀 But I found the article, where I have the quote from: https://www.businessinsider.com/...
