Do you sometimes feel more comfortable to talk with strangers than your friends?

Question

I do have somethings that I cannot really talk with my close ones. 
They might be some worries, concerns or just a small talk to make myself feel lighter.

We're now building a random voice chat app where people can have a nice & clean conversation anonymously. Visual elements such as videos or pictures will be put off the service to avoid judging by looks and also to make a clear difference with dating apps. And mostly to have more users concentrated on their talks.

Sounds kind of minor but just want some opinions from different people:)

This is interesting @bryanseok  - I definitely see the value in this. I think a big part of the challenge will be figuring out how to keep the quality of matches and conversations high. The idea of question prompts could also be interesting for if there's a lull in the conversation or ppl match but don't know what to talk about

Try to make the interface "safe & secure" as hell, it will help me feel confortable with this kind of thing :).

Is it purely voice chat? A lot of people that don't feel comfortable talking to people also don't enjoy physically speaking to strangers. This is why communication has moved towards messenger apps rather than voice calls, and dating apps are easier for people to communicate than face to face meetings in a bar. 
I am not saying there is no audience for it, I am just saying be aware that people who are introverted and find talking about issues to a friend or family, are also unlikely to chat to a stranger they do not know via voice chat. 
And you also have to think about who is going to use it and what for. I hate to burst any bubbles here but human nature will suggest that the first thing a male stranger will say to a female stranger when they connect is "are you up for some fun?" 
In other words, men will prefer it if they can chat to females, and they will use it as a free tool for sex chat conversations. It may not seem obvious but I can almost guarantee that if your idea takes off and people use it a lot, that this issue I have highlighted is going to smack you right in the face really hard and you really do need to be ready for it beforehand. Most of the moderation on dating sites, social media sites and forums is over men trying to  get sex from women. A male stranger getting a female voice to chat to is going to end up going the same way in 30%-50% of all encounters and if you are not prepared for it, you are going to end up running a sex chat line and be having females delete their accounts in their hundreds.
