I'm launching something new soon. I'll launch on Product Hunt, but what are some other good places?

Hi @nickfreiling, I encourage you to check my side project - https://owwly.com. πŸ”₯ Together with my good friend, we help products to promote and find potential customers. Take care!

Top of mind for me is Indie Hackers, Twitter, Reddit and a blog post. If it's programming-related you could also post on Hacker News.
Trey Chong
@jensnilsson Hi Jens. Indiehacker started to ask for an invitation code for registration, but none of my friends are active users and they have no right to send the code. Do you mind to send me one? Thanks.
Alexandra Kazakova
@jensnilsson @treychong I can help if Jens hasn't sent it to you yet
Jens Nilsson
@treychong Hello Trey, I joined IH pretty recently so unfortunately I haven't got my hands on any codes yet so @alexandra_kazakova2 could help you out
Trey Chong
@jensnilsson @alexandra_kazakova2 I already got that, thanks for offering!
Sofya Narbut
@alexandra_kazakova2 do you have any more invite codes by any chance?

Hey Nick, there is a great post on IH's written by James Fleischmann called 'Relaunch like a pro: 100+ places to launch, relaunch, and list your product'. Pretty much covers all angles to promote a new project. https://www.indiehackers.com/pos...

Definitely besides SM profiles (Twitter is must!) and blog, you should use Quora and Reddit. Also you can write a few posts for Medium, Thrive Global and Hacker Noon.

Social Media (channels based on your target audience), Reddit and Slack channels

We've also had the same question to be honest. And for ZERO ID launch we decided to go with Twitter as a primary medium and then Product Hunt as the other one. And I have to say that it led to some great results as Twitter allows you to be super active and engage in many conversations. Also, users are there and everything is super active. So that will be my advice - invest time in Twitter
Bernadette Cau
@pablo_palmitas how do you launch a product in Twitter? How do you target the potential users and communicate with them?

In various thematic forms. Depends on what your project is about.

If you are a SaaS product and are looking for early adopters, AppSumo seems to be a great place to list on. Most of the users there seem to be early-adopters. Life-time deals seem to be the norm there. Here is a blog post I read where the author mentioned AppSumo as a part of the GTM engine - https://www.indiehackers.com/pos...
Bernadette Cau
@vivek_ganesan AppSumo is great if you have some very clear pricing schemes and able to offer important discounts. Another huge advantage: it could also bring a positive cash flow in the short run.

Thank you very much for all the people who are posting other alternatives! I will launch my free product design course in February and I will make a notion template with all this information! :D Thanks!
