We released our project a month ago, but even today I see traffic from PH What other channels work for your B2B company? Just want to be sure that we are covering the core traffic sources + maybe, together we will find some untypical sources!

Comparison website worked quite well for me (G2 alternative.me). Quora & Linkedin work well too, but that is because it is our speciality.
Natalie Karakina
@emotf do you have plan? what kind of post works best for you? how much time do you spend to prepare the content?
Nathan Challen
@nataliekarakina I post daily about productivity. Specifically the flow state. https://www.linkedin.com/in/nath... <-- examples in 'posts' Time spent: about 1hr a day. Content: comes naturally because it's a topic I know well. As a dev I've spent most of my life battling with my relationship time. Later years designing systems and apps overcome the challenges. Often comments lead to a new post, so it's kind of cyclic. Just started about a month ago... but finding it a good place to grow an audience.

@nataliekarakina A&I is a great group ran by Justin Welsh https://audienceandincome.co/?vi... He teaches his techniques. Yes its a referral link, but I can vouch for the techniques and people in the group. Well worth joining.

Hey Natalie, Our B2B traffic mostly comes from referrals and backlinks - relevant industry blogs, websites that mention you in their articles, or affiliate marketing. Many business clients also pay attention to reviews on TrustPilot and G2, so be sure to create an account there as well, if you haven't already. Be sure to list your company on various websites such as Crunchbase, Capterra, Sitejabber, and sites that fit your product. Our traffic also comes from Facebook, Twitter, Quora, and Reddit. On Twitter and Reddit, we are tracking conversations where we could participate to promote our B2B services. And on Quora, we are answering questions related to the industry we are in.
Anand Radhakrishnan
@linda_liepa yes that sums up pretty much all the best hacks!
Linda Liepa
@nataliekarakina How you are using Quora? Are you answering questions or you have created space as well?
Linda Liepa
@nataliekarakina great, good luck with Quora! I suggest to join relevant spaces regarding your product/industry, where you can answer questions as well. In spaces you get more views and interactions rather than answering questions in Quora in general.
Natalie Karakina
@linda_liepa yes, I've done that already! But need to wait up to 14 days before content approval after PH community my next content focus is QUORA

2 year ago we used to get traffic from Linkedin. Out strategy was: 1. Make 2-3 minute videos 2. Share from founder's personal account 3. Leave a link to website towards the end. The traffic wasn't huge, but if a post caught on, we'd see a decent spike in google analytics.
Andrey Korobitsyn
That's a great question! Did you get much traffic from PH? We launched today, looking forward to seeing the results! Btw you are welcome to check us out!
Natalie Karakina
@andrey_korobitsyn I will! Good luck with a launch! We had around 1,5-2k traffic during the launch week

So far, most of the traffic for KatLinks has come from Twitter, Product Hunt, BetaList, BetaPage and Reddit. We've also had small traffic spikes from sponsored and non-sponsored newsletters.
Natalie Karakina
@roberto_robles I need to re-check our page there (BetaPage & BetaList), they have a long approval process
Roberto Robles
@nataliekarakina They do! I was tempted to pay for the expedited review, but I ended up just waiting. And once you get listed, try to get some likes on your post (kind of like what we do here). I got about 18 likes on my BetaList page and I got featured because of that. I got pretty good traffic.

We're selling the app via marketplace, which makes it easier to sell, as lots of our traffic comes directly from marketplace searches. Other than that we've observed some good results from engaging in communities, where the product could be an answer to somebody's question. Besides that, creating an ebook with some quality content and distributing it via social media (FB mostly) also generated us lots of traffic.
Natalie Karakina
@weronika_spaleniak we are doing our research about in-app Stories now, hoping it will find attention from our audience. Thanks for sharing!

I had created this plan of action for my clients who were trying to acquire B2B traffic. Hoping this would help you. 1. Be creative with your content. Nail a compelling message. Write a tempting headline. Then start the marketing process. 2. Once you have created your content, to enhance your search engine position use long tail keywords (search terms with relatively low search volume and competition levels). 3. Enter into referral partnerships for ongoing traffic and leads by partnering with complementary companies 4. Content Atomization: Take a core, base content piece, and then translate it into many different pieces of content. https://www.convinceandconvert.c... 5. Identify trustworthy industry websites and write for those sites.

1. Content - Blogs - Listicles - How to guide - Video Long form content which gets most internal links, picked up real quick and drives crazy traffic. 2. Social Media - LinkedIn (Individual brands drive more traffic than Company page) - Medium - Quora - Twitter 3. Paid Ads - Adwords - LinkedIn 4. Review Sites - G2Crowd - Capterra 5. Partnerships and Collaboration

@arpitmishra "Long form content which gets most internal links, picked up real quick and drives crazy traffic" – will try it soon. Thanks!
