Hi folks! I'm back in the PH saddle. I had a very blessed May, with a film I helped write premiering at the Cannes film festival, so I was quite preoccupied with meetings (and some parties), but now that the fun is over, I'm back to Startup mode.
We intend to launch on PH by end of month. We are building a social space for users to locate likeminded viewers to talk about film and TV with in short-form videos.
Anyone here a movie buff? What's your favorite film? What was your favorite film from last year?

Not sure I'd qualify as a cinephile, but there are certainly some amazing ones out there! I've long wanted to get my kids into classic movies (e.g., Roman Holiday, Casablanca, La Dolce Vita, Seventh Seal, Vertigo, et al).
Personal favorites include: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Gladiator, Princess Bride...

Oh, I can't call myself a movie buff 100%, but definitely watching thrillers, gangster movies and TV series is one of my hobbies.
I haven't followed the new releases. I really like mobster movies) For example, The Sopranos, Narcos, The Peaky Blinders. Last year's movie really got me - the prequel to The Sopranos - The Many Saints of Newark!
I'm not a contemporary, and all Marvel type fantasy is not to my liking.
