How many digital newsletters/ magazines do you subscribe to and actively read?

I realize I get behind on catching up if I miss/ neglect subscription emails and then it's always a game of catching up. I wonder how y'all do! I would like to talk to some people who have the same problem.

I sometimes subscribe a lot of newsletter, but turns out I don't have time to read all of them. so only read that resonates with my field and interest.

@ankuragarwal2 Indeed, I did now sign up to some PH-projects here in the last days, but more for networking reasons.

I think the type of information provided in newsletters never has triggered my interest. I get answers to questions I never asked. In the most cases the information carries a sales intention, where something is offered for immediate or later consumption. So this brings me into the inconvenient position to reject an offer, what is emotionally slightly stressful. The quality of the information in newsletters has often more promotional character and is therefore like in 99,99% cases of advertising nearly empty of sustainable value, but  you still have to dedicate time and brain activity to identify this.

In the last decades I observed that subscriptions tend to reproduce themselves as dubious providers obviously passed on their mailing lists - hopefully this is better now with the new compliance laws.

Of course it's different with projects of family and friends, where I would be happy to get updated, because of emotional interest and to join the excitement - but I don't have many friends with such kind of projects. Same would apply to projects where I'm economically invested, but I'm not.

I know some journalists and analysts are providing their insights in newsletters, what's perhaps different from promotion newsletters, as the information than can become rich. In corporate newsletters it's difficult to find truth instead of propaganda - that's the nature of corporate information per se. I rarely was in a relation to organisations to be interested in this kind of coloured information.
