Hi Guys,

Avoid backup of your Outlook PST files on network like Dropbox, OneDrive etc. As per Microsoft community guideline, you shouldn't store Outlook PST files on Network computer. It can damage the file structure of PST file.

If your PST file is not accessible due to storage on network, then try Inbox repair tool to rebuild the corrupt PST file smoothly. You can also try third party solution like Stellar Repair for Outlook.

Using the Import/Export Feature in Outlook

Open Outlook:
Launch Microsoft Outlook on your computer.

Access the Import/Export Wizard:
Click on "File" in the top menu bar.

Choose "Open & Export":
In the left-hand panel, select "Open & Export."

Select "Import/Export":
Click on "Import/Export" to open the Import and Export Wizard.

Choose "Export to a File":
Select "Export to a file" and click "Next."

Choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)":
Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" as the export file type and click "Next."

Select the PST File to Export:
Choose the specific PST file you want to back up. If you have multiple email accounts, you might have multiple PST files. Select the one you want to back up.

Choose a Destination for the Backup:
Click the "Browse" button to select the location where you want to save the backup PST file. You can create a new folder for this purpose.

Set Export Options:
You have the option to select how you want to handle duplicate items, whether you want to include subfolders, and whether you want to export items with specific date ranges. Configure these options according to your preference.

Finish the Export Process:
Click "Next" to proceed.
If the PST file is password-protected, you will be prompted to enter the password.
Click "Finish" to initiate the export process.
Complete the Backup:
The Outlook PST file will be copied to the location you specified. The backup is now complete.
