Do you think, if we add gamification to charity/donation then more people will donate?

My thing about charity is that I get nothing in return, and therefore I don't wake up one day thinking "Let me donate to a charity". It's not that I don't want to, it's just that it's 1) a hassle 2)I get nothing in return 3) I feel like whatever contribution I make is insignificant. I think that in order for me to donate more, one of those 3 factors need to be addressed. That's why I like round-ups and amazon smile, I don't go out of my way, and I make a difference.
