When signing up and logging in to a website or app, which do you prefer and why?

I use my email whenever I can. The main reason is privacy. I don't trust any tech company that makes cash selling ads (almost all social networks), and sometimes user data, with my data.

@alexdevero same. If they force anything other than email, I'm not using the service. (Unless it's a popular service for the specific platform/signin.)

The only time I like social media login is when the products is a social media tool. Social media SSO is always confusing especially when you have multiple accounts...
