Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for beta users (3) asking for feedback on a landing page First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post. Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. 😊

Last year I launched https://mybrandnewlogo.com , an automatic logo maker. One of its internal algorithms is a custom gradient generator. I've decided to make this a free standalone app for frontend developers to automatically generate CSS gradients and recently launched https://www.producthunt.com/post... The goal was to make gradients as easy as possible. I'm curious if this gradient generator is actually useful for CSS devs. I'd love to hear some feedback so I can improve on it.

@aaronoleary Thank you for starting this thread again! Hey guys,  As Makers, we love to explore the various user experience flows of top-notch products and thought we would share our learnings with fellow makers. As they say, don't say, show, so we thought what better way to share then to take snapshots of various UX components. We also tagged them to make it easily searchable by elements like cards, tables, signup forms, etc. You can search for your favorite product to get some inspiration from their flows. We have also curated multiple insights under our story section for onboarding, signup forms, signup buttons, etc. Kindly check our product out at https://uxhunt.browsee.io Would be really grateful to have some feedback from the PH community.
Camille Franceschi
@aaronoleary @shraddhasrivastava Cool website! No need to do my own investigation every time I search for UX inspiration! Cool way to get more people to visit Browsee.
Zerzar Bukhari
@aaronoleary @shraddhasrivastava Cool, did you guys launch on PH? My biggest question here would be around quality. It looks like you guys picked some good products to analyze, but how will the quality/scale be maintained over time? The value would be primarily on niche flows IMO rather than generic ones like login (where there are many best practices)
Shraddha Srivastava
@aaronoleary @camille_franceschi1 Camille, thanks for your kind words. Yeah, actually I bumped into this problem way too many times whenever I design something (as I am from engineering background). So, it kind of originated from our own need :)
Shraddha Srivastava
@aaronoleary @zerzar_bukhari Hey Zerzar, No we have not launched on PH yet. We would probably be launching in the next couple of weeks. I agree with you on the quality front but as we have observed in the past, there is always some innovation going on whether in onboarding, landing page designs, signup forms vs buttons. So, we might be able to revamp ourselves accordingly with new emerging products, concepts and designs. Scaling this is a different beast I agree, we wanted to iterate on the value before we might be able to do that.
Max Moody
@aaronoleary @shraddhasrivastava Really cool website. Love the design. One piece of feedback, it'd be nice if there were a few more example components, I took a look at the API reference and there was only one example.

Hi! I'd like to hear your thoughts about the first version of my project LinkLab https://linklab.co/ https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Andrew Tye
@ikachura hey this looks nice! curious, what is main goal of Linklabs or what makes it different than hacker news / reddit?
Evan Moore
@ikachura While the feature set seems a little bit limited so far - I think you're actually on to something with the content. I would really love it if there was a place with crowdsourced lists of "best of" links that I could focus to my interests. Kind of like a combination of medium and Ranker (https://www.ranker.com/). Seems like it would be great SEO bait too!
Kaito Cunningham
@ikachura I like this idea a lot - how would you deal with spam/self promotional links?
Igor
@awt Hi Andrew πŸ‘‹, thanks for your question. I see Reddit is a tool about sharing a link/image/video and discussion on it. LinkLab is more about collections of your links. While you're on the internet you collect some links and store them into your browser. I'd like to share these collections across the community.
Igor
@evomoore Hi Evan. Cool idea, thanks. I'm trying to find my audience now. I'll definitely experiment with something similar.
Zerzar Bukhari
Hey guys, we just launched a calendar tool to help schedule meetings faster https://www.producthunt.com/post... Our target audience is employees working in teams spread across time-zones. If that's you, I'd love to get your feedback on our PH page about what you think!
Kaito Cunningham
@zerzar_bukhari This seems very useful - I'm assuming that teams/people would have to make sure that their calendar is all set up for the week before they could use this service, and I would definitely use this with my team. The back and forth with meetings has never stopped haha.
Zerzar Bukhari
@kaito_cunningham thanks Kaito! Yes, the team would have to have their calendars updated for it to work which should hopefully help things get more productive as well!
Glenn
@zerzar_bukhari Interesting product - back at my previous startup I would have found this really useful.

Hey πŸ‘‹ I recently launched Todoo on Product Hunt - its a new way to manage daily tasks. I don't have the resources to test the app on a wide range on Android devices - resulting in some unexpected bugs. I would appreciate any advice on how to better test the functionality of the app on different devices. Also - if anyone is willing to try out the app - I would love the feedback. Cheers.
Andrew Tye
@dijkstrah_ i'm always on lookout for great to-do apps! curious what makes this better than Microsoft ToDo or Google Tasks? Also, have you used android emulator for all the different device testing?
Hessel Dijkstra
@awt Todoo is an alternative to MTD & GT for people that only want to do one thing, manage daily tasks, and do it well. MTD & GT focuses on accomodating everyone - providing some features you don't need for daily tasks. Todoo helps a smaller subset of people - resulting in fewer, but essential-only features. That being said, Todoo is still a very basic MVP. I am planning to add more features that focus on daily tasks. Also yeah, I should probably check the emulators out.
Andrew Tye
@dijkstrah_ i like the sound of that...i'm all about simple for something like this. will save Todoo and check out more later!

Hey guys - just launched Rate My Roommate: https://www.producthunt.com/post... Would love your thoughts on the website!
omid borjian
Just launched Mocha yesterday. Would love to get more feedback and of course early adopters! πŸš€ https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Tomi Gelo
@omidborjian sign up went fine! I just noticed that since I declined location sharing it's not possible for me to add a location manually.
omid borjian
@tgel0 glad to hear, that’s a good point. You could in the settings, but I’ll add it in a way to do it right after you opt out of the location share. Thanks for the fredback!
Lauren Rosenthal
@omidborjian congrats! app looks nice and sleek on the video - well done. quick question / call out - wasn't clear whether mocha was a way to connect with other remote workers to work remotely together or to connect with other remote workers to find places to work IRL together. or maybe both?
omid borjian
@lauren_rosenthal thanks Lauren! It's both but more on connecting people and creating a community. The idea with workspaces is that you check into the workspaces and work with other people who are checked in. What do you think about that?
Lauren Rosenthal
@omidborjian i think that sounds great - might be helpful to clarify that from the start. good luck - this is really exciting!! and clearly very needed right now.
Tal Revivo
I'd like to hear your thoughts about https://www.adoric.com
Brittany Partridge
@54_icon Is this a website creator or sales funnel creator?
Abhay Salvi
@54_icon I couldn't understand. Is this a website builder or a pop up builder? No matter how well your product is. If it isn't able to make users understand what it does then it will not generate leads... However the landing page is well designed.
Camille Franceschi
Hey there! πŸ‘‹ My co-founder and I love no-code products that allow you to implement stuff on websites in minutes. That’s why we have built Joonbot, a no-code and intuitive chatbot builder. Joonbot helps you guide, collect and push information to your audience in no time. With Joonbot, you can get more qualified leads, increase sales and speed up customer resolutions. We are still looking for early users to try our platform and give feedback. It’s free forever until the end of April! https://www.joonbot.com/
Shraddha Srivastava
@camille_franceschi1 Joonbot looks pretty good to me and looks like you guys have already build lots of features and integrations. How is the response? Have you guys launched yet on PH?
Camille Franceschi
@shraddhasrivastava Thanks! We'll launch on PH when we will have a free and paid plan. Tomorrow we are launching on PH a bot for fighting Covid-19 crisis!
Tomi Gelo
@camille_franceschi1 I like your landing page and Joonbot! It seems that you use predefined questions to provide relevant answers. Is there also an option to ask custom questions during a chat?
Camille Franceschi
Hi @tgel0, thanks for your feedback. We don't have IA or live chat included in Joonbot. Maybe we'll add a "bot to live chat" feature if there is enough demand πŸ™‚.
Lauren Rosenthal
@camille_franceschi1 looks great - and congrats! signing up to check out and beta test. how do you want feedback shared - here?
Klaas Foppen
Hey! I am close to launching https://brabble.fm the website is live right now and the app (iOS) is in public beta. If you like podcasts I hope you give it a try and break things!

Just shipped a tool that makes your screenshots look good on social media. Would appreciate your feedback. https://www.producthunt.com/post...

@usama_khalid upvoted and the tool looks cool, i think it'd be even better if you could tweet directly from the tool in addition than copy and paste into twitter
Aleksey Razbakov
Hi! Are you staying home those days? I launched Guten Abend, it is an Online Cantina, where everyone is welcome to join our board game evenings or daily fitness exercises online via Zoom. I would appreciate your feedback!
Tomi Gelo
@razbakov nice idea! Wondering how you decided on the name?
Tomi Gelo
Hi everyone! 😊 I hope you are all doing well while staying at home! For that I built my very first web app called "quarantify - πŸ™ STAY HOME & order together". Quarantify helps find people to order online with so that you can still order from your favorite restaurant even if there is a minimum order requirement! I've only shown it to a handful of people so I'm really excited to post it here to a bigger audience for the first time. Needless to say that any feedback is very much appreciated πŸ™ https://quarantify.com/
stanislas LV
@tgel0 The idea is brillant. Love As a feedback. 1. You should have a kind of landing experience (Tour or Landing Intro) to explain the outcomes 2. For UI, I would put the footer sticky on the bottom ;) It is weird on desktop view. Good luck
Tomi Gelo
@defoemark hi Ulan, thanks for checking out my app, really appreciate it! Re your question, I’m not sure if allowing unauthorized users would be a good idea actually. But I will put some more thought in this and see what can be done! Just wondering:do you generally prefer not having to register it is it just in specific situations?

Hey everybody πŸ‘‹ I want to share with you my latest social media project about Covid-19! Some of you may say it's not a product, yeah. You're right, but I believe I will turn it into a website with a map view. You can follow the account and DM me with your view from windows to support my project. Andrew Tye
I'm currently asking people for feedback on correl.app and hoping to launch on PH next week!
Brittany Partridge
@awt wow this is cool! Would be great to have a prompt of when to complete the form (when you wake up, before you go to bed) to help you establish this as part of your "flow" or routine
Andrew Tye
@brittany_partridge thank you!! okay, that is great feedback! right now there is a prompt in the evening, but one in the morning might be a good idea also!
Victoria Petrova
@awt like the idea! Landing page is skewed from mobile browser, makes sense to check it before the launch
Andrew Tye
@victoriapetrova uh oh, I will check on that. which mobile browser are you using?
Victoria Petrova
@awt it's actually on both safari and chrome: check subtitle of a block Find correlation. Also gaps between blocks are quite big, but maybe it's by design
Max Moody
@aaronoleary thanks for setting up the thread and for giving an overview on how to contribute Hey All, We're looking for a handful of users to help beta test a new version of Partneroid , if your our target user (see below) or know someone that is, we'd love to talk or have them try out the product. When we last soft-launched (several months ago), our biggest feedback was to have more comprehensive data (having more data, full stop) and to be able to search for actual partnership rather than companies. We've added those features and increased searchable data set. Our Target Audience : 1. People that have or are currently working on B2B partnerships such as partnership managers. 2. People that need to research B2B partnerships e.g. you're working on a BD team and you've been tasked with finding a distribution or marketing partner for a new product. As part of that task, you'd like to see what other companies have done.
