@talwarutkarsh Rather for me, the genre depends on my mood and it goes on to increase my productivity. So if I am too energetic I listen to Rock/Metal and work while headbanging a bit :P but if I am lazy or relaxed I put on some Lo-fi/Chill music to get in the groove. May be something is odd with me :P

@gaurav_shrishrimal Not at all haha. I think that's how most people operate and there's nothing wrong with that. I do it too sometimes. Sometimes I'd just want to listen to Coke Studio and nothing else, other times it would be a Bullet For My Valentine playlist.

@gaurav_shrishrimal Oh btw since you mentioned you like Rock, may I suggest a great playlist that works equally well whether you're working or going on a roadtrip? It's called Walk Like A Badass. https://open.spotify.com/playlis...

@talwarutkarsh Will give it a try today itself :) Thanks brother.

I voted Lo-fi/Chill. Right now I'm really enjoying Poolside FM 2.0 again! 🌴😎🎧

@de I'm usually a metal/EDM guy but lately I've been listening to a lot of Lo-fi and I gotta admit it's great for focus. Thanks for the playlist!
Abadesi
Classical wasn't an option so I picked lo-fi but I love Classical, too
Utkarsh Talwar
@abadesi Oops! Should've mentioned it. I listen to it as well when the mood strikes. Listened to Toccata and Fugue in different forms (original. rock. dubstep, etc.) yesterday XD
Kavir Kaycee
@talwarutkarsh Nothing with vocals. Instrumental across genres. 1. EDM (For upbeat) - https://open.spotify.com/playlis... 2. Lo-fi (For chilled out) - https://open.spotify.com/playlis...

@talwarutkarsh @kavirkaycee YES 🙌 Love the Spotify "deep" and "chill" lists
Utkarsh Talwar
@kavirkaycee Love them Spotify playlists myself. Energetic Run 160-165 bpm is also great.
Andrea Uliana
death metal, Brujeria, Burzum, Soulfly, Max Cavalera, etc. etc.
Utkarsh Talwar
@andrea_uliana Ooh sweet! I'm not a big death metal guy but I'll give them a try.
Simon Waters
Deadmau5 chill mix on Youtube gets the creative juices flowing.

@talwarutkarsh Once you've finished that, try some Shingo Nakamura :)
Utkarsh Talwar
@simon_w Sounds like a blast. I'll give it a listen. Thanks!

I knew Lo-fi would top the poll!
Utkarsh Talwar
@aaronoleary Haha it tied with Rock when I put out the same poll in our Telegram channel for devs. http://bit.ly/devtg

Vocal Deep House
Steve Ronaldson
Lo-fi can really help hit flow!

It's been a while since I listened to any music 😀. For the last ~2 years, I listen almost exclusively to podcasts and audiobooks, almost all day 😎🎧.
Utkarsh Talwar
@alexdevero Even while working? 🤔 I mean yeah they're both great but I don't think I could listen all day while still being able to process and retain all that information.
Alex Devero
@talwarutkarsh I am used to it. Listening to podcasts and audiobooks is fine when I code (on 2.5x ⚡). However, I can't listen to anything when I write for my blog. When writing articles, no audio input. Complete silence.

Voted for Lo-fi/Chill music. I tend to listen to Chilledcows playlist. They also have it on youtube live stream :) https://open.spotify.com/playlis...
Utkarsh Talwar
@liz_zvereva I did listen to a Chilledcow playlist and really liked it! Someone above linked to it as well.
