Although I developed this app, it was for my own use at university. And it served me well when I wanted to quickly get a bit of information, or do some initial research before I went deeper into a topic.

I'm not sure if it's one of the best, but I implemented support for the Touch Bar on my app for every function!

This is my own app, but I created it for myself to use at University and it proved to be a great research tool. While Wikipedia shouldn't directly be referenced, it's a great way to find sources of information that can be referenced.

There was a time, before Twitter implemented restrictive API limitations, when Twitter clients were a playground where app developers tried new ideas. It felt like there was a new Twitter client released every week. Today, that role seems to have been taken over by Wikipedia apps. There are a lot of good Wikipedia apps.

Going straight to the Wikipedia in your browser is fine, but there are better ways to access the site if you're on a Mac.

Tried multiple email clients and recently made the switch to Spark, really helpful for collaboration across teams and beautiful interface along with some really handy features like automatically rounding up newsletters and alerts into sections!

Spark has everything you need, it's super-customizable, no monthly fees or anything weird but I think you have to pay for the product itself. It syncs GREAT over icloud. I've used it for years man and I'm a stickler for speed, simplicity, readability and taste... this has it all for me.

Spark is currently the best email client on macOS in my opinion. It also has an iOS app.

Email is massive and unavoidable. You usually can't afford to get it wrong. But recently, I had the urge to try something new. Google's Gmail works fine, but, like Facebook, it's long been "that thing I use because it's a thing I use, not because it's delightful."

Mac: When Spark initially launched on Mac, it had enough features to get by, but it still needed to check off a few boxes to convince power users to give it a look. In an update today, they've added a few new tools for managing your email.

I am biased here but to launch or switch between apps is much faster with App Pier thanks to its keyboard-centric minimalistic design and Touch Bar support. It also saves some screen estate by hiding Dock as you do not need it anymore.

I use this all the time - It works cross-platform and is super easy. Save with browser extensions, or just a few taps on your phone. It's easy to set up and I found it much more intuitive to use than any other mentioned here, and I've tried them all.
