Square Cash is what I use with my friends. It's really easy to use. The person receiving money doesn't even need to have an Square account. There's no fee for non-business transactions, and bank transfers are pretty fast.

This is the best app I have tried to record my expenses and it has been the only one I use for more than a year now. I used to have Money Lover installed but Wallet has a nicer and friendlier UI. Also, recent updates like "Labels" make it more useful. You can have multiple accounts (for more than 3 you have to pay a small fee which is totally worth it), char… See more

Penny is a calming presence in a world that can be very tough to understand. She gives insight on spending and seems like she is always adding new features and abilities. Penny+ (paid level) is totally worth it for the sub-categories alone.
