    Hopper 3.0

Personalized money-saving tips for your travel preferences

Hopper is great when you're planning future trips. Tell it where and when you want to fly, and it will notify you when the price is predicted to be the lowest.

Best app I've come across for predictive fare pricing months in advance.

Was a Kayak and Skyscanner fan for many years, but since last year I much prefer the experience and results of Google Flights.

I checked and mostly the Google Flights works the same as a SkyScanner. Also, like Google Flights

    Hipmunk

Cheap flights, cheap hotels, and travel Search

Ryan Hoover78Founder, Product Hunt · Written
Hipmunk has been my go-to for flight booking. It ranks flights and prices based on "agony" because sometimes the cheapest flight is the most painful (e.g. multiple connections, long layovers). My only complaint is that it doesn't include Southwest Airlines.

I sometimes use Hipmunk but find myself using Google Flights more and more because of its simplicity. Then I use Google Trips to keep track of my itinerary.

    AirWander

Add multi-day stopovers to save on flights

Haven't used it yet but love the idea of adding a few day stop off to my trips!

Scott's Cheap Flights is a very cool newsletter that alerts you when airlines have sales on. It's more for serendipitous flight booking over actively searching for flights for a trip you're committed to. It let me know I could get from the UK to Hawaii for £273 return the other day! I was very tempted to book. For actively searching for a planned trip, SkyScanner is my go to.
