- I use this one for all of my screen recording needs. A super simple free app that lives in your menu bar. Exports to GIF, WebM and MP4. 👌Timothy made this productI'm a bit bias since I worked on Kap; but as an actual user of it daily for my full-time job, I can't recommend it enough. I've tried many others and have never been fully satisfied as I have with the ease and quality of Kap and its resulting Kaptures. 🎉
- Use CloudApp to record and share videos. I also use native QuickTime Player – just click File > New Screen Recording. QuickTime can also record iPhone/iPad screen by New Movie Recording, you will see yourself but can switch to device via arrow icon near the rec button.
- Free. Simple. Effective. It is missing advanced features, but for simply recording the screen (or a window/area of the screen), a voice/audio stream and highlighting clicks, you can't beat it.
- It records clear audio and videos and comes with a full-featured video editor. It’s also simple and easy to use.Not only can you record from multiple monitors, but you can choose to record from your webcam and connected iOS device simultaneously. Combine that with the ability to record audio, and you have the perfect setup for creating video tutorials
