What's the best wine app?

I'm such a newbie to wines and found a few wine scanners. But they seem to be all about BUY, BUY, BUY. I wonder what's the best app out there that gives more info. Anyone has a tip?

Certainly the best choice out there. After using Delectable for three years, I've found Vivino's scanner to be more accurate and reliable. Plus, Vivino's community is incomparable. No ads too!

Have you tried Vivino? Pretty much anything wine-related is going to be focused on buying it :/ But I love using the scanner at restaurants to quickly check out ratings.

Vivino is the best. The scanner is really impressive and I love how they keep track of regions/varietals that you like.

Big fan of this product. Uses CIA image recognition tech to capture the labels. Good social tools - can follow somms and writers and people whose tastes you like.

Inside of this app, users can follow the leading winemakers, sommeliers, and wine companies. They can explore curated lists of wines and purchase wine in a matter of taps without the need to leave this app. Apart from it, users can add their own rating and reviews to wines they’ve tested and tag people and locations in order to remember a special occasion a concrete wine is associated with. The best part is that one can find this wine app either on the App Store or Google Market for free.
