It really depends what kind of project you're editing. I believe that when it comes to short form content, FCP is much more simple. I love Premiere as well although it's a bit more advanced. FCP is simple, strong and very intuitive. Obviously - you'll need to have a Mac to use it. As always - it depends on your needs but i've been using Avid and Premiere for a while and now with FCP for a while for more simple projects rather than actual films that I used to edit and so far it's been great.
