What tool do you use to search for apartments to rent?

There are so many different tools out there for renters, but I feel like not one is understood to be the best. What do you use when it's time to move? (Any moving apps, etc, also welcome)

I think Cragislist is still one of the best sources to find apartments. Padmapper gives Craigslist to you in a map-view like you'd normally find on Zillow / Trulia etc, which is awesome.

This is a national apartments website, so it's super helpful, regardless of your location (aka not in SF). They've also done a great job with their search— awesome map with side-by-side listings, etc.
