What are the best tools for doing online product demos?

I am looking for a simple tool for doing online demos which don't require users to install anything.

Screen sharing over Google Hangouts. Nothing works better than this in terms of ease of use and simplicity. :)

    Soapbox by Wistia

Chrome extension to record, edit, and share videos.

Soapbox by Wistia could come in handy here. It's not intended for live videos, but if you're doing a demo for a customer and need to send it to them pre-packaged, it's really fast and easy to do so.

For app demos, I use Invision. Create your project, send anyone a link and they can start interacting with your app right away.

Collaborative screen sharing for sales & success teams

I would recommend Demodesk's screen sharing platform for sales & success teams! What is so special about Demodesk, is that you don't have to share your local desktop. What it does is providing a virtual display on which you can set up websites, apps, slides, videos or documents to present. That way, you decide what the other participant(s) can see – and, most importantly, what not (like Slack notifications, your Sales Force notes, etc.) Also, both presenter and viewer can click and type simultaneously. Demodesk lets you even share control with multiple parties at the same time. Another awesome thing is that it doesn't require any downloads or extensions. It works out of the box with any device and any browser, lag-free - yes, also Internet Explorer! Anyone can join by just clicking a link. And because Demodesk acts like a normal website, even the strictest firewalls won’t block it. It comes with automated scheduling, so you Calendly is basically integrated already. Also, Demodesk offers real-time sales guidance to giving advice in sales demos. It's not only a collaborating tool, but also audio & video conferencing tool. Demodesk can be used for sales demos, customer onboarding, success and support. Full disclosure: I work at Demodesk

Seamless screen, mic, and camera recording for Chrome

Loom is dynamite for pre-recording demo's. You can record a tab, or your desktop, and video of yourself and audio. Or you can select a combo. It's free. They also have an integration for the likes of Gmail. Did I mention is blazingly fast? As soon as you've finished recording, you have a shareable url. Oh and they have a notifier built in so that when someone views the link, you get an email. Best product of 2016 if you ask me!

    Whereby (formerly appear.in)

Collaborate from anywhere - video meetings with no downloads

In terms of ease of use and simplicity, Appear.in is the best solution for me. You can add your own design. So easy to use. Best way to share your screen. Love it.
