What's the best tool for communicating with users during beta testing?

I'm looking for an inexpensive solution for receiving / responding to and tracking feedback from ~100 early users (iPhone app).

    For more established businesses Intercom is great, for a cheaper alternative that a lot of startups are using I would use livechat.

    Be less busy. Real-time messaging, archiving & search.

    I'd go for slack if you're selling a SaaS product. Great way to stay in touch with your early customer or beta users. If what you offer is a more general consumer product then I'd go with Intercom.

    We had Webengage during our private beta and it worked pretty well. It has got quite a few widgets for feedback, notifications, surveys and its free up to 10,000 monthly active users.
