What is the best FREE alternative to Power Point?

Looking for something a bit more modern - but still free. Want to create a beautiful presentation. Have looked at Prezi before, but am wondering if there are any others out there to creating a stunning visual slideshow.

Becca, you can try Niftio. It has a pretty cool presentations templates created by designers, so you can definitely create beautiful presentations. Also, besides creating a presentation, you can change the way you deliver them by using your phone as a slide controller and to follow speaker notes.

Now it's free with any Apple ID and has a cloud version. Not as colourful or beautiful like other alternatives, but an option if you want something similar to PowerPoint.

    Amazingly simple graphic design

Hey, Becca! Sounds like you're looking mostly for design value, rather than interactions, crazy presenter tools, etc—so I'd say Canva, hands down. There are a ton of free presentation templates, and in terms of design, they blow every other slideshow SAAS out of the water.

I agree with Lisa! We just started using Canva recently for presentation templates, social media/email banners, etc. It is super easy to use and the designs they provide are beautiful.

LibreOffice is Microsoft Office like suite, compatible with every file. You will be able to create a very good presentation with this free software. We were using this for a long time in our company. It just needs a bit of adaptation as some things are slightly different from the original paid suite.

OpenOffice was one of the firsts to be out there for free and has gone through many versions, to be honest. It is again in here a Microsoft Office like suite and you can have the same functions than the original one. Worth to try.
