This works great with Macs (and I think PC). Another USB to AV adapter. Start up the software, plug the VCR in with the adapter, hit record on the software, then hit play on the VCR. Pretty ease to use.

I've converted about 1,000 hours of VHS using this device. The included software is simple to install and use. I like how you can set a timer for the video, and it will stop capturing when the tape is finished (and then you can trim the edges of the recording, if needed).

I've converted about 50 VHS tapes using this software. It comes with a USB to AV adapter and the application. The user experience could be better but it gets the job done.
